Overview

Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs was founded durring the early 16th century in winter of the year 1504, by Scukke vyim Fɪgsetunk. The establishment of Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Scukke vyim Fɪgsetunk struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs as a prison colony.

Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of restrictive gravel streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs's boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same god, all preforming the same rituals to bless and anoint building,s streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holysymbols is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This town certainly loves its god.

The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs lost 267 people, 289 livestock, and 24 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 101, when members of Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs's militia enacted an operation to escort a specific mage to a safe location. The operation was complicated by an outbreak of plague which struck the ranks, killing many and laying low many more. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the strategic location, which ended in victory for Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Iyuzeld Uhidï-ēdïīs's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
